First 4 weeks is very important for your puppies to have healthier lives because puppies need their mothers’ milk in this period of time. They absolutely need a breast feeding from birth to 4 weeks. You should be very careful about not to feed your puppies with another food.
STAGE 2: 4 TO 6 WEEKS
Puppies can leave breast feeding completely at the end of stage 2. You can teach them to eat something else, but you should be patient and persistent. Spoon meat is perfect for them to eat. You can place spoon meat on your puppies’ paw and let them lick the food on their paw. Eventually you can replace the paw with bowl, and you will see that your puppies actually begin to eat the food in the bowl. It is not that hard to accomplish because puppies tend to do that naturally.

After 2 months of age, you should not give your puppy entirely mushy food. You should let them exercise with their new teeth.
